Last September 13, 2018, the Regionalization Students Organization (RSO) held its annual acquaintance party, Kasadyaan, at the Buenafe Auditorium. The theme for this year was “Biyahe” and the event was hosted by Omid Siahmard (2021) and Hannah Rota (2023).
The event was opened with welcoming words from RSO adviser, Dr. Abdel Abdulla, who expressed admiration for this year’s big turnout.
Students from different regions were acquainted to the organization’s core values through a night of food, games, and performances. RSO Batch 2022 creatively depicted social justice through a simple skit and dance while RSO members from class 2021 showed solidarity in a lively performance of the song “Tatsulok”.
The highlight of the event was the entertaining video presentation and dance number from the new batch of Regionalization Program (RP) students. Kasadyaan was the night for RP 2023 to showcase their talents and newfound camaraderie to resident and aspirant members alike.
The event concluded with the awarding of winners from RSO’s annual photo contest, “Mukha ng Bakasyon.” This year’s winners under “People and Culture” category were Cedrick Adorna for “Aliwan” (2nd place) and Ryan Kinomes for “Morning Catch” (1st place).
